Enantioseparation of styrene glycol studied by chiral liquid chromatography. Enantiomeric ratio applied as biomarker for exposure to styrene. Achieved enantioselective resolution of 1.60 and selectivity index of 1.48 Recovery assays show accuracy below 5% for the enantiomeric fraction. A faster method based on determination of anisotropy factors also developed.
