Methylation and associated transcriptional changes were studied in NAFLD. We performed a targeted anaylsis of genes responsible for lipid and vitamin D balance. We detect new genes (APO genes, NPC1L1, STARD) epigenetically affected in NAFLD. Our results give novel insights into lipid and vitamin D regulation in NAFLD.
