Manganese functionalized mesoporous molecular sieves Ti-HMS as a Fenton-like catalyst for dyes wastewater purification by advanced oxidation processes

Mn functionalized Ti-HMS molecular sieves were synthesized by in situ method. Mn2+ was the main active site for Fenton reaction, and framework Ti gave a promotion effect. Mn/Ti-HMS obtained higher removal of MB and RhB in more moderate conditions than Fe/Ti-HMS. The spent Mn/Ti-HMS catalyst can be effectively regenerated by calcination.
