Remarkable enhancement of the efficiency of Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cells by annealing the (In,Ga)2Se3 precursor layer

CIGSe thin film solar cell is developed using three-stage co-evaporation.

A new way is introduced to improve the performance of cell by annealing of IGSe.

Preferred orientation of CIGSe absorber is tuned by the annealing time.

The conversion efficiency is significantly enhanced from 7.35 % to 14.35 %.
