Multiproxy study of hydrological and ecological dynamics of Mechacz Wielki bog in C Europe. Baltic raised bog development depended on climate and autogenic drivers. Rapid peat accumulation (on average 2.7 mm/yr) in Mechacz Wielki bog over last 2000 years. Different proxies and testate amoebae traits revealed exceptional ecosystem stability in the last 2k.
