Metastable phase equilibria for pseudo-ternary c-TiN/c-AlN/c-CrN were constructed. Numerical simulation of spinodal decomposition in c-Ti1 − x − yAlxCryN was performed. Effect of Cr on spinodal decomposition in c-TiAlN coatings was carefully analyzed.
