Univariate EQMOM and bivariate extensions applied in a realistic 0D spray setup.

As reference a discretized PBE solution is used for the mono-thermal testcase.

Reconstruction of the NDF with EQMOM enables to capture loss of small droplets.

Mono-thermal ECQMOM captures bivariate NDF for the mono-thermal test-case very well.

The applied version of ECQMOM introduces unintended conditional variance.

Extension to ECSQMOM removes this variance and yields accurate results.
