Wetting of Na-montmorillonite surface is performed by means of Molecular dynamics simulations. Contact angle between a water nanodroplet and the surface of Na-montmorillonite is investigated. The contact line of the nanodroplet on the montmorillonite surface is not a perfect circle. An average microscopic contact angle of about 25° is obtained.
