Income-related health effects at the macro-data level: life expectancy at birth and GDP per capita. Biased OLS income effects on life expectancy at the aggregate level. Correcting for aggregation bias with model alternatives that are also applicable to other contexts. Corrected income effects on health are larger in low-income countries than high-income countries. In the poorest countries, income inequality health effects are still significant.
