A novel cationic latexes composite hydrogel based on dual physically crosslinked was fabricated. Cationic latexes play the role of hydrophobic association and ionic crosslinking centers. Cationic latexes composite hydrogels exhibit excellent toughness, anti-fatigue and self-recovery properties.
