Cryptic lineages of Angiostrongylus cantonensis were found in Thailand. Individual based analyses with microsatellites were combined with mtDNA sequences. Congruence between genetic markers supports two main clades and possible subclades. The two main clades do not show geographic affiliation and can be found in sympatry.
