Polymorphisms in estrogen metabolism genes were investigated in menstrual migraine. Polymorphisms were genotyped in a specific menstrual migraine case-control cohort. COMT Val158Met, CYP1A1 Ile462Val and 3798T > C, and CYP19A1 Cys264Arg were studied. None of the polymorphisms were significantly associated with menstrual migraine.
