Extraction with chemical reaction was carried out in the Oldshue-Rushton column. The slip and characteristic velocities of the reactive system (Sm, Gd and D2EHPA) were investigated. Slip velocities in the reactive extraction system were higher than those in the physical systems. The variation in the slip velocity is related to the interfacial active properties of D2EHPA.
