Al-7039 cast developed in-situ using microwave hybrid heating at 2.45 GHz, 1400 W. Melting characteristics of the charge discussed during in-situ microwave casting. Thermal analysis of microwave melting of Al-7039 alloy carried out using software tool. The effect of power and mold assembly location inside the applicator studied.
