Homogeneous and stable diathermic oil-based SiC/TiO2 nanofluids were prepared. The rise of nanoparticles concentration and temperature would contribute to the increase of thermal conductivity of nanofluids. The diathermic oil-based SiC/TiO2 nanofluids can be regard as Newtonian fluid. The results indicated its application potentials for energy systems.
