A fractional precipitation method for purification of (+)-dihydromyricetin was developed. The time required to obtain a given yield was the shortest at 277 K. The kinetics data agreed well with the Johnson-Mehl-Avrami-Komolgorov model. The precipitation process was exothermic, irreversible, and spontaneous.
