Particle RTD is studied using an integrated experimental/CFD approach. Particle-wall collision and two-way momentum coupling is considered. The measured RTD trends are generally well captured in predictions. Wall roughness causes greater axial dispersion of particles. Particles clustering effect on the drag coefficient should be taken into account.
