Novel PVT modeling and experiments are presented for DME-brine-crude oil mixture. PR EOS with Huron-Vidal mixing rule is utilized to develop PVT model. Strong preference of DME towards oil (than aqueous) phase is shown and quantified. The predictions from PVT model are in very good agreement with experimental data. DME-partitioning coefficient decreases as DME-mole fraction in oil phase increases.
