Al-, Ga- and In-MOFs (p-MOFs) are reviewed, including structural features and properties. p-MOFs act as heterogeneous catalysts in many organic reactions. p-MOFs efficiently catalyze multicomponent reactions (MCR). Tuning the metal ratio in multimetal catalytic MOFs affects the outcome of MCRs. A statistical overview correlates synthetic conditions-structure-properties.
