Whole-field CFD simulation is undertaken on the wind-driven natural ventilation in a low-rise building with loggia.

Average reduction on ventilation rate on windward side is 27% due to a full-enclosed loggia.

Certain wind directions can benefit the cross-ventilation with the loggia.

Correlation-predicted ventilation rates are acceptable when the large opening is not on the windward side.
