Multiple response optimization to reduce exhaust emissions and fuel consumption of a diesel engine fueled with olive pomace oil methyl ester/diesel fuel blends
No linearity between BSFC, emissions and olive-pomace biodiesel content in the blend. Optimal operating conditions of stationary diesel engine by means of RSM (response surface methodology) are provided. Methodology allows high engine performance while reducing exhaust emissions and BSFC. Methodology helps meeting environmental rules without loosing engine performance.
