Classic Y urethral duplication has a small dorsal urethra and a large ventral one.
CUPF has a normal dorsal urethra and a small ventrocutaneous fistula.
Y treatment is excision of the dorsal urethra and transposition of the ventral one.
CUPF treatment is careful excision of the ventral fistula tract.
Classic Y duplication (more common) has worse surgical outcomes than treatment for CUPF.
