An experimental facility enabling dynamic degradation tests was developed and used. The dynamic test facility simulates real conditions of a CSP plant. A516 was tested in binary Solar Salt (500 °C) under static and dynamic conditions. Dynamic result was compared to static result to assess the effect of flowing salt. The patented experimental pilot plant is a great step forward in future CSP plants.
