Highly meso-porous and conducting activated graphene-based electrodes are prepared. High ion conducting and flexible gel polymer electrolyte films are prepared. Supercapacitors offer high knee frequency ∼966 Hz and low response time ∼20 ms. Supercapacitors offer maximum specific power ∼118 kW kg−1 with scan rate 50 Vs−1.
