An analytical model was developed for the analysis of organic solar cell (OSC). Generation of charge carriers and monomolecular recombination both were considered. Optical transfer matrix method was used for estimating charge carrier generation. Proposed model was used to determine the performances of P3HT:PCBM based OSC. The model results were found in good agreement with experimental results.
