Calibration-free LIBS allows quantitative analysis of intermetallic nanoparticles. The technique is facile and devoid of extensive sample preparations. Nanoalloys and nanocomposites with widely varying elemental ratios are analyzed. LIBS results indicate good agreement with ICP-OES results.
