Efficient somatic embryogenesis system by cell suspension culture is reported. Sequential transfer between solid and liquid media produces a higher number of somatic embryos. A combination of NAA and mTR is highly efficient for embryogenesis and germination. Developed protocols are useful for conservation and bioactivity studies.
