All of our 12 patients fulfill criteria for Dg. of MIGRAINE WITH AURA previously used term common migraine. In all of them AURA was characterized by homonymous visual disturbances with positive (scintillations and tingling) or negative (scotoma, hemianopsia or/and numbness) features. In the HEADACHE PHASE typical characteristics were: unilateral localization and pulsating quality of pain and also nausea, photo- and phonophobia. Through previous exact examination through neurological checkup, CT or/and MRI, patients with structural brain lesions were excluded from the study.
