The CDSL was developed to aid the processing of regional climate data. The CDSL supports parallel processing of gridded data for agricultural models. The CDSL has a functionality to prepare an ensemble set from individual data sets. Input files from gridded data can be prepared with minimum efforts using the CDSL.
