The behavior of rare-earth elements, zirconium and hafnium during magma evolution and their application in determining mineralized magmatic suites in subduction zones: Constraints from the Cenozoic belts of Iran
文摘
Geochemical variations of trace elements (REE, Zr, Hf) have been attributed to subduction processes and arc maturity. Chondrite normalized REE pattern, Zr-Hf and (Zr/Hf)-Hf scatter plots can be used as a tool to recognize the fertile and/or mineralized magmatic suites in magmatic arcs. The geochemistry of trace elements have been attributed to:- Subduction processes- Arc maturity- Recognition of mineralized bodies
