TiO2–SiO2 Janus particles are explored for thermal regulation behavior. Janus particles treated cotton fabric showed higher NIR reflection and better thermal regulation than control cotton. Better thermal regulation behavior is due to the unique structure of Janus particles. Can be used as an effective substitute for the widely studied multilayered structures used for cool coatings.
