IL-33 of serum were significantly increased in Chinese subjects with pulmonary ARDS. The IL-33 levels in the serum and lungs were increased only in the mouse model of pulmonary ARDS. Treatment with IL-33 neutralizing antibody significantly reduced the pulmonary inflammation in ARDS model.
