We focused on safety and quality related behaviors of pig production separately. Critical factors influence deviant behavior of Chinese pig farmers were identified. 422 pig farmers were surveyed and eight dependent variables were analyzed. A multivariate probit model was used to address the possible endogeneity concerns. Conclusions were helpful for Chinese government to improve management performance.
