Investigated the antimicrobial mechanism of peptide F1 from Tibetan kefir against Staphylococcus aureus.

Revealed that peptide F1 can cause damages to bacterial cell membrane that lead to leakage of cellular content.

Revealed that peptide F1 can bind to bacterial DNA, which leads to disruption of vital cellular functions.
