Graphene oxide directed in-situ deposition of electroactive silver nanoparticles and its electrochemical sensing application for DNA analysis

An novel DNA biosensor was constructed based on GONs with deposited AgNPs. GONs catalyze the in-situ deposition of AgNPs on the sensing interface. Unique π-stacking of GONs with probe DNA contributes high selectivity of the biosensor. High electroactivity of AgNPs leads to low detection limit (7.6 fM) for target DNA.
