This paper analyses the operation of a heating system whose terminal units are a radiant floor and a fan-coil. The uncertainty in the part load efficiency of the thermal production unit was quantified. Four control strategies are defined and compared using a TRNSYS model. The energy consumption of the system is mainly influenced by the part load. The combined system shows the best relationship between energy consumption and comfort level.
