The RCIs of two larch species were studied under two different types of soil. Intra- and inter-specific competition affected variation in TNC. N fertilization alleviated negative effects of larch soil. Growth of L. kaempferi benefited from the presence of L. olgensis. Growth of L. olgensis was slightly inhibited by Larix kaempferi.
