Re-polymerisation of lignin fragments is a significant problem in the valorisation of lignin. Thermobifida fusca dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase prevents dimerization of a lignin model. Addition of DHLDH to P. fluorescens Dyp1B generates novel low MW products from lignin.
