Microwave-accelerated secondary growth method for synthesising ZSM-5 zeolites on SiC foams. Differential heating of SiC in microwave irradiation promoted the preferable growth of ZSM-5. Optimised conditions under microwave heating yielding ZSM-5 coatings with high specific area. Characterisation of ZSM-5 coatings supported on SiC foams in 3D by X-ray computed tomography.
