The effects of Fe on GFA and the mechanical properties of Zr-based BMG were studied. A new Zr65Cu17.5Fe10Al7.5 metallic glass was obtained by copper mold casting. High GFA (ΔTx = 81 K) was achieved through 6% addition of Fe. Large plasticity (εp = 6.2%) was gained for the alloy with 6% addition of Fe.
