Ab-Hcy of S. serrata showed bacteriolytic as well bacteriostatic activity against Gram´s +ve and Gram´s –ve bacteria.

Agglutinated with B. flexus N3 E. coli, V. harveyi and V. vulnificus and also rat with human O RBCs.
