We evaluated the browsing behaviour of Boer goats by direct observation. We detected a relationship between the abundance of woody species and browsing time. Goats frequently browsed on spiny or thorny shrub species. We observed a significant decrease of woody coverage within pastures. Endangered dry grassland species responded positively to the grazing regime.
