The Y2Ti2O7-dispersed Fe–Cr–Al alloys show enhanced oxidation resistance.

Al plays dominant role in improving oxidation resistance by forming Al2O3 scale.

Y2Ti2O7 nanoprecipitates are of importance to form stable Al2O3 scale.

The concentration of Al in Fe-14Cr ODS alloy should not be less than 4.5 wt.%.
