OI patients naïve to bisphosphonates had advanced dental age by 0.63 years from chronological age. OI patients not treated with bisphosphonates also showed faster resorption of the deciduous teeth than the treated ones. Bisphosphonate treatment in OI resulted in a rate of dental development indistinguishable from normal.
