Hierarchical organization in visual working memory: From global ensemble to individual object structure
详细信息    查看全文
文摘
Visual working memory (vWM) representations are hierarchically structured. Global object levels reveal higher vWM performance than local-level representations. Repetitions between objects at the global object level reduce vWM capacity. Global (memory) precedence occurs during vWM maintenance. The global bias mainly results from vWM asymmetries, not from saliency differences.
