1H NMR-based metabolomics approach was used to examine the potential role of technical chlordane in obesity development. Technical chlordane can enhance the metabolic changes induced by high-fat diet. The enantioselective metabolism of chlordane was influenced by high-fat diet. Technical chlordane and high-fat diet had a similar effect on tryptophan catabolism.
