A facile microfluidic device is developed to fabricate PES hollow fiber membranes. Effects of fabrication conditions on membrane structures are systematically investigated. The structures of PES hollow fiber membranes can be easily and effectively controlled. Ternary fluid-flow diagrams are created for fabricating hollow fibers with desirable structures.
