This paper proposes a dynamic condensation approach to calculate the structural responses and response sensitivities. The structural responses and response sensitivities are gained from a condensed model and a simplified iterative scheme. The proposed method is accurate to calculate the structural responses and response sensitivities of large structures. The computational efficiency for structural responses and response sensitivities of large structures is improved greatly.
