The synergism of hot water pretreatment and enzymatic hydrolysis in depolymerization of lignocellulosic content of palm kernel cake

The method based on the synergism of HWP and enzymatic hydrolysis was developed. The surface microporosity of PKC was increased after HWP through SEM analysis. Steam pretreatment of 121 °C, 20 min was efficient for PKC refinery. The main product of PKC with HWP was oligosaccharides and mannose with no furfural. The products were mannose and mannobiose from the method based on the synergism.
