SrS: Ce nanophosphor has been synthesized using solid state diffusion method. XRD, FESEM and HRTEM results validate the nanocrystalline nature of the samples. Ball milling reduces the particle size leading to reduction in PL intensity. The decay lifetime is found to be maximum (96 ns) for unmilled sample.
